On occasion our projects involve using sensitive information or information relating to minors. In addition, from time to time, we send communications to our mailing list of subscribers who have consented to receive such communications from Spark Market Research.

How long do we keep your information?

We commit to retain your data only as long as strictly necessary, in line with our Data Retention Procedures which are based on the practical requirement to hold data and the legal requirement to hold data.

We work with Tremendous, a 3rd party rewards company, to distribute incentives and prize draws. After you have consented, and participated in incentivised market research with Spark, your name and email will be shared with Tremendous and deleted from Spark’s internal databases. Once your data is shared with Tremendous, it is then subject to their privacy policy, https://www.tremendous.com/privacy. Redeeming your incentive is optional from then on, and any incentives will be subject to Tremendous’ terms and conditions.

Your rights

You should ensure that the information we collect and hold in relation to you is accurate and up to date. If you would like to review the information, we have collected on you via a Subject Access Request at any time please contact us on data@sparkmr.com. We commit to responding to your Subject Access Request with full details on any data held about you by Spark Market Research within a maximum of one month. Please note you have the right to request any amendments or deletion of the above data held on file by Spark Market Research. You can do so by requesting this in writing upon receipt of your Subject Access Request response from Spark Market Research.
